From the very pleasant staff (who might be family members) to the Cook herself (who I think is the owner) everybody is so welcoming it makes it a nice homey little place to eat. I love this place. I've only been in a couple times and every time the food is very fresh, very prompt, tasty. What a really nice little family business. Frequent them. I also love the fact that they have a vegetarian burrito :-) ”

I ate the best tamales I've ever tasted -- and I'm from California, so I grew up eating pretty awesome tamales from my friends' grandmas and moms. We also had a Toluco burrito, which was chock-full of amazing, flavorful meat (they're not stingy with the good stuff!). It was also great to see the owner Olivia behind the counter, working her magic. You can tell a lot of love goes into her food. She and the staff are the sweetest people and treat everyone like family. Please do yourself a favor and try Nelys -- you won't be disappointed. ”
